I believe that, with the right support, every child can experience SUCCESS!!!
There are many counseling services available to students, teachers, and parents. Small group counseling and individual counseling are offered to students who need extra help with a specific issue. There will be self-esteem and friendship groups offered this semester. Written parent permission is required for these services.
Moreover, the counselor consults with teachers, parents, and administrators to discuss student concerns and to help recommend beneficial strategies and interventions.
Finally, the counselor coordinates: Elementary UIL, TAKS testing, school assemblies, special school programs, and other activities throughout the year.
