Welcome to the Higgins-Everett PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) website. The PTO is dedicated to supporting the teachers and students of the Higgins and Everett campuses at North Lamar ISD through fund raising projects that improve the school facilities and enhance the learning environment for everyone. PTO is the best way for parents and staff to share in the partnership of our child's education.
We invite ALL parents to become involved – give as much or as little time as you can. You can help out by donating your time to our schools in many ways or simply attend the monthly meeting. The more parents become involved the stronger our school will be.
PTO MEETINGS: The best way to get involved is to attend our monthly PTO General Meeting. This is open to everyone and we hope you can attend the next one. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month in the Higgins conference room and they start at 12:30 p.m. and usually last about an hour--we promise to make our meetings short and stay on track. However on occasion due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control meetings may be postponed or cancelled, please check with the school's front office if in question.
