Teaching Philosophy My goal is to encourage confidence and boost self-esteem in each student through musical activities as well as teach the basic skills needed for further music education. I hope to instill in each child a life-long appreciation and love for music. My classroom is a place where all succeed and many excel. I emphasize that every child will not be perfect, but everyone can try one's best. I have found that everyone can succeed at doing his/her personal best. My mottos is, "You never know what you can do until you try." It is such a joy and blessing to work with students on a daily basis. In fact, it is almost magical the way the whole world dims with its problems as we experience making music together.
