Parents, your children are responsible for completing dyslexia homework daily. This is to review the day's concept/s. Please, continue to give them guidance; they are still in elementary school and they need your support most desperately.


Please, listen to your children read for at least 15 minutes per day. You may even partner read to your children, so they hear correct usage of the English Language. If time is short, read the magazine, the newspaper, the comic strips, the information on a cereal box, an AR book, and even a book that might be "a little above" their reading level. Be sure that your children are listening and forming pictures in their brains for understanding / comprehension. Ask your children a [who? what? when? where? why? how?] question to check if they are listening and understanding what you're reading. If you have internet access, look for free childrens' read aloud story sites.
