4th and 5th grade G.T.
4th grade G.T. students were given the challenge of calculating the measurements of a Bigfoot. They began with a report of a recently discovered footprint and were told it measured 2 pencil lengths. With that information, the groups came up with measurements for head length and width, torso length and width,  and arm, leg, hand a nd foot lengths. Next, each group had to reproduce the calculated measurements and create a Bigfoot out of bulletin board paper. The final step of the challenge was to add details based on information given in witness accounts of the creature, which they found by researching books and the internet. The finished products are on display in the main hall of Aaron Parker Elementary School.
