My name is Valerie McClain and I have been teaching at North Lamar for 36 years. This year I will be teaching Literacy - working with children who may be struggling in reading.  My goal is to help each child become independent readers and develop a lifelong love for reading.  I am looking forward to an exciting new year at Parker Elementary.
